Where It Started
She Grow Hair Co. began during my undergraduate years from a personal journey with my own hair. After struggling with a stubborn bald spot near my edges that refused to grow back, I became determined to understand my hair on a deeper level. I started researching scalp health, ingredients, and the role that proper nourishment plays in creating an environment for healthy hair growth.
I became more intentional about what I was putting on my scalp — learning about oils, botanicals, moisture, and the importance of caring for hair from the root. What started as a personal mission to restore my own confidence slowly became something much bigger.
Through patience, consistency, and creating products that supported my own hair routine, I began seeing changes. Before I knew it, my college friends were always in my bathroom using my products, asking what I was putting in my hair, and wanting some for themselves.
